We are pleased to announce the renewal of our membership in the UPGE (Professional Union of Ecological Engineering), an association that brings together stakeholders committed to the recognition and development of ecological engineering in France.
The UPGE now comprises more than a hundred professionals who work every day to promote ecosystem resilience and build the ecological engineering sector.
The association’s mission is to organize, represent, and promote the sector by:
- bringing together committed companies,
- facilitating a dynamic network of experts,
- developing tools for skills recognition,
- advocating for ecological engineering among institutional stakeholders,
- and contributing to the evolution of practices and the market.
At TerrOïko, this commitment to community engagement is a given: working together to ensure that the natural world is taken into account in urban planning projects and public policy.
Our involvement takes concrete form in the following ways:
- Catherine de Roincé, president of TerrOïko, serves on the UPGE board and chairs the Research & Development Working Group.
- Jules Boileau chairs the Planning Working Group.
- Jérémie Cornuau is an active member of the Urban Biodiversity Working Group.
We are thus continuing our commitment within the UPGE, convinced that the development of the sector and the sharing of expertise are essential to advancing biodiversity in local communities and professional practices.
Thank you to the UPGE team for their energy and dedication every day, especially Yannick Autret, Thibault Leroux, Florence Oberlin, Lisa Dulac, and Mathieu Moreto
